Following the finish of my dragon I have started my new Christmas stocking and have been stitching like crazy since the last update given I was on holiday over Christmas and New Years – Been back to work since the 2nd however and as expected the cross stitch has come to a slow down. The good news is, if I want to finish this in time for Christmas 2019, I have a head start !

Also welcome back to Mary Margaret , and a very warm welcome to Renee and Jenee !!!
Bonjour
Tu n’as pas choisi un modèle simple. Quoique !!!
that’s a huge amount done to start with! I have every faith you’ll finish this in good time for next xmas ^^
Touch wood 😀
Well, that looks like a mammoth task. Will it be for Baby Viking?
There’s a lot of work indeed haha! No I will be prioritising the older kids first, I’ve got a few years ahead of me before Baby Viking understands the concept of Christmas, and she’ll be getting something more suitable for her age. I’ve made two stockings for my father and aunt so far, got plenty more family members to go through !
You have completed a great deal, and am sure will be finished well before Christmas
Someone is very lucky to be recipient of this stocking
Thank you! Let’s hope so !
joli debut
monique la bretonne
Merci beaucoup !
You’ve made huge progress! I, so glad you were able to get some stitching in over the break. This will be a fun piece to stitch up.
Wish I could get more breaks like these !
You lot loads done! It’ll be done in no time at this rate 🙂
Let’s hope so, work does get in the way haha
Good grief, you’re really powering ahead! That would have taken me several months!
You’d be surprised to know I’ve done most of it in a week, I must have stitched 8 hours a day simply from being on holiday. It’s much quicker than a full coverage for sure
What a great project and fab start, sure it will be done with time to spare 🤗
You really did get a jump start on this, and a bunch of white done, which is always a good thing in my world! This will be a great stocking.
Yes, I absolutely hate full coverage and I like that they use the white of the aida to complement the snowman, there’s also quite a lot of half stitch to get a nice gradient, which again is a win in my book. Certainly going quicker than I would think !
Half stitches are a wonderful thing!
I’m very impressed by how much you’ve done so far. Isn’t it lovely to get a good block of time to stitch? Someone is going to be very happy to receive this treasure 🙂
Great job so far, it looks like it’s going to be pretty
Whoa! You are so fast! I too am going to miss the holiday break of stitching. I get maybe a couple of nights over the week to stitch, but mostly it’s the weekend where I find the time. Your snowman is looking great and I love that little chickadee 🙂
Wow! You’ve stitched so much! It’s great to get a break and be able to really dig in to projects. You’ll definitely get this stitched before Christmas!
I love these kits! I have several from them. You have made fabulous progress!!
I scrolled down to see your Dragon embroidery and it´s a beauty!!! Congrats on finishing that one and good luck with the new embroidery!!!!
Oooh the stocking will look gorgeous. Good luck with finishing it for Christmas. We’ll all cheer you on!
What a great start – it is going to be a lovely stocking.
What a cute stocking! You made fantastic progress.
