Saying these are strange times would be an understatement. I’ve been working from home the past 2 weeks and sitting to cross stitch barely feels like a change of scenery, hence why I’ve done so little this update. I’ve decided to escape playing « Animal Crossing : New Horizons » the latest Nintendo game which is a bliss of fishing, bug catching, and flower tending. Great for people who are stuck indoors and need a bit of a break. I hope you are all well and taking good care of yourselves and family and that we will see this tide blow over together.

The back stitching adds so much to this. Glad you are safe, well and working , even!
Every little bit of stitching helps. You usually stitch loads every time so have a well earned break 😉
Your peacock is so beautiful!! The colors are so vibrant and lovely.
looking good, but you need to change your title lol. And are you sure you’ve really been working from home for 2 weeks already, or does it just feel like it? We haven »‘t had a full fortnight in confinement yet, although it feels like much longer already.
Maybe not exactly 10 days but I took my computer home on a tuesday and started working from home on a wednesday. – Will change title
It’s wonderful to see this bright cheerful peacock during this time. That game sounds like so much fun! I’m a huge fan of a similar game called Harvest Moon. « Tending to the garden » can be addicting, lol!
Haha Harvest Moon is the same kind of game indeed – I’d say animal crossing is even more chill because you don’t have to rush to tend to all your crops/animals and it’s based on real time clock (shops open and close based on the real times and some fish/bugs are best to catch by day or night) – Yes it is a lovely cheerful design
OH wow! That’s really cool that it’s real time. I’ll definitely have to check it out 🙂
Depending on what console you have there are 2 animal crossings on nintendo DS, 1 on switch (the latest), and a mobile version for android (which doesn’t require paying to enjoy but does throttle the amount you can play a day). The mobile game isn’t quite the same but it’s free to play so… worth a try 😉
I do have an Android, but not the switch. 😁 Downloading!
Bonjour
Une petite avancée, il faut savoir se changer les idées, par ces temps difficile. Ce n’est facile pour personne, et chacun réagit différemment . Bonne continuation. Prend soin de toi et ton compagnon. Bonne soirée. Gros bisous.
Sometimes you just need to find something that you can get lost in. I’ve been playing Forge of Empires in between crafting 🙂
This is such a beautiful project, I love the colours and it’s coming on so well. xx
This Indian Peacock is just so beautiful and the colours are real eye candy.
Such a beautiful piece! It’s tough to settle to stitching sometimes when you’re stuck in one place all the time.
He is very handsome, Mr Peacock! We are doing alright here!
Your peacock is beautiful.
This is more beautiful every time you share it! I hope you are enjoying Animal Crossing!
