SAL – The Indian Peacock 18/04

Modest update this time round. Kept myself busy over the weeks and weekends with animal crossing again, and a bit of drawing on my digital monitor/tablet I got over last year’s black friday. It cost a couple hundred quid so it would be a shame to have it just taking on dust. (Still alot cheaper and bigger than the Ipad pro I’ve been eyeing for it’s great Ipencil support)  // Avancee modeste cette fois-ci.

    1. Thank you! To be fair I am one of the people whose really bad for not visiting everyone every time although sometimes I get round the next following weeks just so people generally get more traffic. Closing the group was a good plan, I reckon if other people want to be part of a SAL nothing keeps them from having their own group !

    1. Haha indeed – It looked like a close finish in february and look where I’m at. Barely touched it lately, I’m having to choose between doing personal artwork or this 😀

  1. The gaming can be addicting! It’s taking away from our stitching lol! I downloaded the mobile version of animal crossing and I bet the regular switch version is a lot better. I also downloaded Cat Forest and have spent hours on that! You’ll have to check it out 😉

    1. Ah that’s cool ! Mobile games tend to have this distateful attempt at making you buy cash/coins/gems every chance they can get, I much prefer one time purchase games. At least they’re a full product that you just get to enjoy once you own 🙂
I might have heard of cat forest but I’ll definitely check it out because it sounds cute 😀

  2. I get the best of both worlds — I sit in the same room with my husband while he plays Animal Crossing and stitch or crochet. All the cuteness, but I don’t have to fish. 😉 The peacock is so beautiful.

    1. Haha that sounds pretty nice ! Not my partner’s cup of tea so when I cross stitch next to him and he’s playing games, it’s more like DOOM or Wolfenstein and getting angry when he dies haha, not quite as relaxing.

  3. I know I’m repeating myself. But this is magnificent with such gorgeous colours. Always a pleasure to see it.

  4. I’ll admit to have spent more time playing Forge of Empires than I have on stitching lately. Sometimes you need a different form of escape 🙂
