I’m happy to say I’ve now completed both cross stitch kits I « rescued » for my mom (the other one being the Victorian house). All that’s left is planning a trip to see the folks (no direct flights, having to look into going through Germany or Switzerland to get there… a real headache) since we haven’t seen each other for over 2 years thx to COVID. Plus, would be nice to have a belated celebration for our wedding which is actually next week. (As far as my partner is concerned after being engaged 2 years, this is just a formality, lol) To continue this SAL, I decided to resume Too Pooped as it was gifted to me several years back and looks quite quick to stitch. // Jai le plaisir de vous dire que j’ai mnt fini Midnight rendezvous, et avec ça, la maison victorienne que j’avais promis de broder pour ma mère ( les deux étaient sur toiles sombres). On ne s’est pas vu depuis plus de 2 ans, merci Covid, mais il reste encore à résoudre l’énigme de comment se rendre en France via l’Allemagne ou la Suisse vu qu’il n’y a plus de ligne directe, mais je compte bien voir ma famille pour lui rendre en main propre et avec ça, faire une petite fête pour célébrer en retard, notre mariage qui aura lieu la semaine prochaine. (Petit mariage, rien de bien folichon)
En ce qui concerne le SAL j’ai décidé de reprendre Too Pooped (cadeau danniv ya 3-4 ans) plutôt que laisser prendre la poussière et il a l’air assez rapide.

Too Pooped already had half a cat and a teapot when I resumed it so I mostly made progress on the top section of tree. I figured if it can be this fast I may as well make it my SAL so I clear the smaller projects out of the way to make room for the big ones. Almost ready for Saturday I still need to dye my hair and sew myself a sash which I started late last night.
I adore Midnight Rendevous! Congrats on the finish. Too Pooped! looks like a great piece also. I love the colors. I will enjoy following your progress on it. Best wishes for your wedding! Congratulations. Wishing you many years of happiness. I hope you can get to visit your parents soon.
Thank you! I hope to motivate myself to frame this one when I’m finished as it would go nicely in my staircase. And thank you again ! I plan on making a trip ASAP.
