Thanks to the long Easter weekend I’ve managed to put a little more time in stitching. It was the easy thing to do when I couldn’t make my mind up about other activities. If only drawing or programming came with a chart too !! Cross stitch is my go-to since I’m always making progress just by following the instructions, never going backwards or suffering from art block. Guess that’s how I’ve stuck to it for now 20 years. How about you?

Christmas things – it’s too warm for that thought here in Britain. You’ve made good progress though.
You’ve made huge progress again. The only thing keeping me stitching at the moment is the SAL. Too many other distractions…
I can relate to that !!
more steady progress . . . this one will be finished well in time for xmas!
Don’t let the half already done deceive you. The section with the name takes by far the longest and it’s boring too 😹 I’m not making the same mistake as some other years where I barely finished in November.
What makes me keep stitching? I think it is the beauty of the shading achieved by following the chart! Great progress for you.
Ooh that’s a good one. I do really love the way some charts are designed for the same reason. Dimensions gold always draw me back in as their charts are very elegantly designed and easy to follow.
Oohh I love Christmas pieces. Great stitching
Great progress! Christmas is far away 🙂
Great progress! I love this piece and Christmas is not that far away in my crafting world. It always seems to sneak up before I have everything I want to complete done 🙂
You have made a lot of progress. I love this stocking. I just love to create pretty things which is why I keep stitching and crafting in general.
