Only one more update left before Christmas…. I better get cracking. I’ve the heel and lots of gold couching left to do and of course kept the name for last. I was hoping to a have a bit more done today but luckily as I won’t need to send it, I’ll have till Christmas to sew it into a stocking. /// Plus qu’une seule MAJ avant Noël et j’ai encore pas mal à faire. Il me reste le talon et bcp de fil doré et bien sûr j’ai gardé le nom pour la fin. Comme je vais remettre cette chaussette en main propre j’aurais jusqu’à Noël même pour faire l’assemblage mais j’aimerais ne pas en arriver là!

Will do!! This is the last one of its kind (hopefully) I have planned to undertake less intricate ones in the future and also not keep myself on a year deadline.
I love this stocking. I don’t think you will have any trouble finishing it in time for Christmas.

The backing is provided, granted it’s just plain felt but I prefer it for the rigidity.

They’re the reason I picked this design for the giftee. Unfortunately the design I really wanted has been discontinued in the 90s and I didn’t feel like paying for people who sell the scan.
