I’ve decided to take a break from stockings and not stitch on a deadline. Part of the reason being my wrist pain is caused by X stitching too much and I’ve felt it after doing so much in December, so I have to be more careful in future . I did feel quite drawn to it lately however, so I’ve tried right handed or two handed and will see how things go, but the splint is staying on. Here is what I’ve decided to work on for the SAL, one of four carrousel horses from Theresa Wentlzer, and I hope to get all 4 done one day but I will take my time, promise. All my best to Helen who hasn’t been feeling well recently.

You have made a lot of progress despite trying to cross-stitch less. I feel your hand pain. I get it also. Rest is best. This carousel horse is very pretty.
You have made good progress despite your hand pain. Hope you can rest a little!
take your time, no need to rush ^^
I hope you can get some respite from the hand pain. No fun when it spoils what would otherwise be a relaxing hobby. Lovely new project and gorgeous stitching as always 🙂
That is a lot of stitches added! Do be good and limit yourself for awhile yet, so you heal up!
The carrousel horse is very good looking, but take it easy. You only have two hands ❤
Yes, do take your time. There are some days the base of my thumb aches from too much stitching. You have accomplished a lot this update! Such a pretty piece 🙂
You made some nice progress despite the pain. Wishing you some hand healing and a nice slow pace to work on this
